A Mindful Howse, LLC

Erin Howse is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing group and individual therapy since 2011. With the rising trend in deaths by suicide, Erin recognized the need for licensed counselors to provide support and education to people dealing with depression, anxiety and trauma. Contrary to previous beliefs, mental health issues impact populations of all colors and ethnicities around the world calling for more counselors of color in the behavioral health field. In 2018, Erin Howse founded A Mindful Howse to provide behavioral health services to a broader audience.

Our MindfulHowse Statement »

Importance of therapy

Studies show that unresolved trauma is a huge predictor for suicidality and substance abuse. I believe it is important to walk beside someone as they explore their hurts and pains and help them to acknowledge their resiliency and strengths.
